Translation in Chinese: I love you

Tags: , , ,

So you like this Chinese girl right? Or you just want to say something secret to your existing lover? Then look no further as here you will know how to say I love you in Chinese!

The word love in Chinese is 爱 (ài).

So here are some sentences:

我爱你 (Wǒ ài nǐ) – I love you – As a side note, that is nice direct translation and will work in most circumstances. But here is more Chinese version of it.

我很疼你 (Wǒ hěn téng nǐ) – Also means I love you, but it means more that you love someone so much that it hurts. To love someone dearly.

我们都是爱人 (Wǒmen dōu shì àirén) – We are lovers – This can be used when asked how you as a couple know each other.

Now, if you’re not quite ready to say I love you, but find someone cute and want to say you like the person here’s a nice sentence:

你很可爱,我喜欢你 (Nǐ hěn kěài, wǒ xǐhuan nǐ) - You are really cute, I like you.

So, just as a recap, 爱 (ài) is very versatile and even just saying or writing it will evoke loving feelings. Furthermore I leave you with one last sentence that will make anyone’s knees melt:

在我的内心真爱你 (Zài wǒ de nèixīn zhēn ài nǐ) – In my innermost being, I really love you.

Now go out there and make someone happy!
